The First Multiplier Event the Aesthetics and Ecology Exhibition took place in Limassol in November 2024, organised and hosting by Cyprus University of Technology. The exhibition disseminated findings of the the project with a focus on artistic research and design artefacts and documentation of work produced during the project. The exhibition was curated by the Aesthico curatorial committee with works selected from consortium members and students reflecting on themes of aesthetics of care, ecology and their entanglements with technology.
Artworks exhibited included sculptures, video installations, generative (machine learning)video installation, sound installations, interactive soundworks, with performances, and live musical performance. The exhibition included a number of guided tours open to the public with the artists presenting their work, answering questions, and leading discussion on the relationship of the artworks to the Aesthico project and an aesthetics of care and technology more broadly.
